Fixing things has always been a passion for me. I was the kid who fixed my mother’s dryer when I was six. I was always fascinated by the way things worked—so naturally, my love for all things mechanical evolved to a love of computers and technology. After studying at the High Tech Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, I knew that computers would eventually become my career. In my many encounters with people afflicted with computer meltdowns, viruses, and other technological woes, one common theme was that it was unaffordable and impractical to rectify them. Many “computer guys” took too long, charged too much, and ultimately did not fix anything at all.
